UBSPD was established in June 1963 with a mission to be a one-stop shop for distribution of books from Publishers to Booksellers at the National and International level.

Where we are today...
Today, UBSPD is the place to find and discover any book that you need. As a leading National distributor, the company has offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Patna, Bhopal, Ernakulam, Lucknow, Pune & Hyderabad. We are very proud to represent 250 leading Publishers and over 2000 Booksellers at the national level. Our Export Division, set up in 1967, covers over 100 countries and has won over 53 awards from Government of India & International agencies for excellence in exports, which reconfirms our faith that although the Publisher-Bookseller base has grown considerably since early days, we still maintain our founding commitment of being a one-stop shop for distribution of books.

• Get your book published under our imprint. We are very proud to have published authors like Dr. Bimal Jalan, Nani Palkhivala,  Kiran Bedi, Dr. Rangarajan,  Dr. Malpani, Patwant Singh, Shiv K. Kumar, Kartar Singh Duggal, Jayanti Ghose and many others.
• E-Tailing: In 2001 we forayed into e-commerce with our website gobookshopping.com. Backed with 43 years of extensive distribution experience and a large network at UBSPD, gobookshopping sources books globally and is equipped to deliver books to over 2000 locations nationally and over 200 internationally.
